I would recommend listing -0- as income, but disclose that your husband is on disability which is your only source of income and that you would like to work so that you can contribute toward payment of the family expenses. List those expenses.

if you have a green card and are married to a US citizen, you must have your green card for at least 3 years before you can apply for citizenship. also, do not forget to petition to have the conditions removed from your green card during the 90 days prior to the 2 year anniversary of receiving your green card . good luck!

If you are a US citizen, you need a US passport to travel to India. You will need an Indian Visa to travel to India. The type of visa depends on the purpose of your visit. Since you want to travel next month, you need to apply ASAP. I do not know how much time is needed to get the Indian travel visa. Good luck!

If she came on a regular vacation visa, she must leave before it expires. If she came on a fiance visa, she must leave if she is not married within 90 days of her arrival. She has problems now and should see an attorney if she wants to stay. But, there may not be much an attorney can do for her except warn her of the consequences of staying.

I agree with my colleague. You would need a waiver of some sort. If you really need to return to the US it may be a good idea for you to consult with an immigration lawyer to learn more about your specific situation to see if any kind of waiver is appropriate. Good luck!

Your nephew needs to see a lawyer. An employment lawyer will likely give a free consultation. The employer may have more legal problems then your nephew.is your nephew eligible for deferred action? If so, he might be able to get a work permit. Have him call me or another immigration lawyer about that.

Mr. Paulson is 100% correct. Do not pay a girl to marry you in order to obtain citizenship. That is fraud and a crime and will preclude you from ever becoming a citizen. Do not even consider it!
