    They have a duty to investigate. It is an affiramtive duty which includes obtianing whatever releases are necessary to obtain the information your policy requires for it to adjsut your claim.
    Hire a local lawyer.

    We handle quite a few of these cases. While there certainly is a failure to diagnose, it may be you saved your daughter from any real physical injury by being so vigilant in her care. Certainly, contact a local lawyer.
