Mr. Potter is a managing partner of RFB + Fisher Potter Hodas and he overseas the firm's two Florida offices in West Palm Beach and Miami, Florida. He is ranked in Band 1 for High Net Worth Family and Matrimonial Law in Florida. He speaks at conferences around the world related to high net worth divorces and asset recovery. Mr. Potter has been published in the Yale Law Journal Forum related to family law matters and, further, he has appeared, often as lead trial counsel, in many of the largest matrimonial actions in Florida (and around the country). Notably, Mr. Potter won the largest known child support award in Florida, at nearly $175,000 per month for one child. He is further known for breaking through complex trust structures and uncovering financial frauds through trial skills, particularly through cross examination of recalcitrant or dishonest witnesses.
Mr. Potter is a graduate of Yale Law School and Princeton University and is former federal law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Mr. Potter is highly selective in terms of the type of cases that he will accept, and the number of clients who he will represent, so that each client can receive his full attention.

"Zac and I have worked together on several multi-billion-dollar divorce matters with highly complex domestic and international legal, financial and tax issues. He has a rare ability to see the whole board at the outset and advise clients accordingly. As the litigation unfolds, he represents his clients like a chess master, anticipating the other side's moves and positioning each piece on the board to further the client's goals with efficiency and precision. His legal writing is second to none. I recommend him without reservation."
"Zac and I consulted on a family law matter involving two states and international aspects. Zac impressed me with his obvious knowledge of Florida law and direct and straightforward manner in analyzing and discussing the issue at hand. I am confident that Zac's clients are in good hands."
