It would be necessary for you or an attorney on your behalf to review the existing Court Order/Parenting Agreement, prior to relocating with your child to New York, to determine whether the Agreement discusses relocation. Also, you will need to review the applicable Florida Statute regarding relocation, F.S. 61.13001.

Prior to relocating to Texas with the child, the Mother would have needed to file a Supplemental Petition for Relocation in Florida, pursuant to the mediation agreement. You should immediately contact an attorney in Florida to enforce the Mediation Agreement here in Florida, and to request return of the child and request a pickup order.
