Does any area of Florida law operate to bar inheritence to an heir at law in intestacy proceedings absent "Slayer Statutes"?

To help me try to answer this question, are you asking whether there is any legal basis (other than Fla. Stat Sec. 732.802 entitled "Killer not entitled to receive property or other benefits by reason of victim's death") under which an heir could be denied the right to inherit?

You can petition the court to be appointed guardian over your younger siblings. There is a specific process, and the proposed guardian has to submit an application.
