You may want to obtain the medical records from the Er admission and subsequent surgery. You should then contact a lawyer who is well versed in medical malpractice claims. The records will then have to be reviewed by another ER physician and possibly a surgeon in the same specialty as the surgeon who operated on you. If those physicians believe that it was below the acceptable standard of care to order the surgery, and are willing to sign an affidavit, through your lawyer you could start the Pre suit process which is a requirement before a medical malpractice lawsuit can be filed.

  • Does an american lawyer has the right to advertise and if yes, how ?

I'm looking for the legal text/ courts decisions that define lawyers obligations about advertising.

Yes, however the regulations regarding the nature and scope of appropriate advertising are governed by each states Bar Association. The Florida Bar has specific regulations regarding the content of advertising including what may be contained on the lawyers own website. for more specific information you can go to the Florida Bar website.
