Absolutely excellent landlord/tenant attorney in Florida

Mr. Chen is an outstanding attorney who will fight hard for your rights in Florida. My family was recently served with an eviction notice. I posted a few questions here on Avvo, and Mr. Chen answered one of them. Most of the other answers I got were the standard "pay up or get out" responses, where our situation was not just that simple. Dennis was very in depth and insightful as to the whole situation. He offered a free 15 minute consultation which turned into almost an hour conversation. After exchanging a few e-mails, he said he would help us in any way he could. After the judge granted us a hearing, Mr. Chen got a retainer agreement for us and was granted a motion to appear on our behalf on less than 24 hours notice. Now, understand that I live in Jacksonville and Mr. Chen is in Orlando, he really went out on a limb to help our situation from long distance without ever meeting in person. He represented us beautifully, and assisted us, especially to protect the interests of our 8 year old son. Dennis is very professional,courteous, knowledgable, and very family oriented. The bottom line is that this man is very sharp and compassionate, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing representation or just plain good advice in the area of Florida landlord/tenant law. Definitely 5 stars.

Mr. Chen was very helpful and explained the whole case to me.. He would helpi me look over all the papers to see if I needed to hire an atty or if I can do it myself.. I would hire him if this goes to court. Thank you Mr. Chen

I hired him in 4/2012. He told me there's options to stretch out my foreclosure. He filed counsel and email address on the case and that's it. The home ended up being sold on 12/2012. The steps he advised me that he was going to take, never happened. As well, my situation needs research, he's a one man team. There's only so much one person can do. He needs help to research what he can do for his client in their best interest. He knows the law and what to do in standard type cases. He's a good person and kind, but I hired him to help my situation not to be kind to me. He doesn't like to talk, alot of emails. I ended up hiring someone in Lauderhill, FL last minute and I still have the property. If I didn't switch counsel or I listen to Dennis's advice, I would have lost the property already. I think only flat rate attorney's, never hourly.

I called Dennis for a phone consultation and left a message on his answering machine. He not only called me back immediately - he gave me informed answers and helped me understand the current situation I was in. He gave me a listening ear and truly cared about our situation, and told us all our options as a tenant. (called him for info on tenant dispute) I would recommend Dennis Chen to anyone seeking an experienced, truthful, and kind lawyer !

I was very fortunate to have found Dennis Chen. He saved me from being wronged by my landlord. Dennis Chen is a very experienced and knowledgeable attorney. He is also very professional and excellent at keeping his clients up to date. But most of all, he cares about his clients and seeks out justice. It was very impressive to hear Mr. Dennis Chen defending me at the hearing. He got my case dismissed and my court registry deposit returned to me. I highly recommend Dennis Chen to anyone who has been wronged by their landlord.

Mr Chen helped me with a personal injury case. Throughout the during of this case Mr Chen was most helpful and very informative in keeping me up to date with what was going on. During our meetings I've found him to be very professional and to the point. He's earn great respect from me as a client. I would highly recommend Mr Chen as a lawer.

Mr. Chen was both respectful and professional. I had complete access to Mr. Chen when needed for updates or queries. Mr Chen possesses a vast and current knowledge base of the judiciary system. He is both reputable and a tremendous blessing to have been able to work with him. I would entrust Mr Chen with my legal future and would securely refer him to family and friends.

Dennis worked on a lease-purchase option contract for me, and later provided all title and closing services when I sold my other house. He is efficient, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He helped us avoid all sorts of possible pitfalls, by thinking about all sides of an issue. Very accessible and thorough, with a solid, big-picture sense of the end-to-end deal. His warm and non-aggressive nature make for a win-win atmosphere when sitting down to do the deal. I'll work with him again any day.
