    County Court, Orange County Charge: Driving Under the Influence / DUI, Reckless Driving, Driving without Headlights, and Driving Off Roadway Summary of Facts: Police observed our client allegedly driving in downtown Orlando without headlights. Police claim client drove up onto sidewalk, almost striking a pedestrian. Once stopped, police claim client appeared impaired by alcohol and arrested him for DUI, Reckless Driving, and cited him with 2 civil infractions. Client allegedly refused a breath test. Client’s driver’s license was suspended by DHSMV for refusing to take a breath test. Client also had a prior DUI arrest from 2008. Result: We won the client’s Driver’s License back at a Formal Review Hearing. At trial on the DUI, the State dropped the DUI charge. The Client pled to Reckless Diving only. The civil infractions were all dismissed.

    Circuit Court, Orange County CHARGES: Conspiracy to Traffic 400 grams or more of Cocaine (15 year minimum mandatory prison sentence required)(F1-L9); Trafficking in 28 grams or more of Cocaine (3 year minimum mandatory)(F1-L7); Trafficking in over 10 grams of MDMA (3 year minimum mandatory)(F1-L7); Unlawful Use of two-way Communication Device (F3-L4) SUMMARY OF FACTS: A package containing a large amount of controlled substances was delivered to a co-defendant. The co-defendant was apprehended by police. The police had the co-defendant set-up a delivery to the client, who was to accept the package in exchange for money. When the co-defendant arrived at the client’s house, the police arrested him, searched him and his house and charged him. It is alleged that another person subsequently arrived at the house with a large sum of money. RESULT: All charges dropped

    Description:
    Circuit and County Court, Orange County - Fleeing and Eluding, DUI, Driver License suspension, and Traffic tickets. Client was accused of almost crashing into a police officer and then racing off and trying to get away from the officer while the officer was giving chase. Once stopped, the officer had the client perform field sobriety exercises and arrested the client for DUI. The client refused a breath test. As a result of the arrest for DUIand the refusal to take a breath test, the client’s driver’s license was suspended for 1 year. The client was also issued several tickets. Result: We were able to get the client out on a low bond. Then we got the felony fleeing and eluding charge dismissed completely. Next, we challenged the driver’s license suspension at DHSMV and won back our client’s license to drive. At trial on the DUI, the state dropped the DUI. The client entered a plea only to Reckless Driving. All other tickets were dismissed.

Based on a police investigation of a residence regarding drug activity, the police obtained a search warrant and executed the warrant at the residence. Police found various drugs and paraphernalia and charged our client with possession of cannabis and paraphernalia. Result: All charges dropped at trial.
