The worst FL Attorney ever!

Just one complaint out of too many to list in just 4000 words. I lost a 8 year slam dunk lawsuit with Mr. Committe as my Attorney. Simple. New home with electric range installed. Range Anti- tipping device was not installed properly and range leg not inserted in the Anti-tipping device safely. Result...? Six qts of thick boiling spaghetti spilled on my back when the ranged tipped causing 2nd and 3rd degreee burns on more than half my back. Excruciatingly painful and years of future pain and suffering. This was never stated to the jury at any time. Mr. Committe, when asked why he wasn't going to use notes in his Closing Statement, he said he would rather do it off the top of his head, therefore omitting stating several crucial facts to the jury. The jury then came back with contradicting decisions, one finding me 90% negligent and my home builder 10% when it should have been the other way around. No wonder. After the loss, I told Mr. Committe of his poor performance at the closing statement. He told me,( I have the emails), that if we get a retrial on appeal, that I can write the opening and closing statements. How absurd is that? In late 2009 when I was told by Mr. Committe that "it" was over I wanted nothing to do with him, EVER. In April 2010 Adams Homes was awarded a judgement against me for $167,000 at 6% interest. When did I hear of this? Six weeks ago, 2 1/2 years later, when a Collection Agency called asking me how and when I was going to pay the now $190,000 owed. Mr. Committe's name is on the judgement. He never contacted me in any manner. Not about the hearing, it's taking place or the judgement against me. I did not hire him to represent me as I knew nothing of what was going on. This man should not be practicing Law.
