the fact that the officer did not show helps you, if he did show and you went forward you chance an administrative suspension. the facts that he did not show and that you won however does not give you a leg up b/c it will have little to no effect on the criminal case. weaving issue must be explored at court.

if the attorney "filed" a complaint on your brother's behalf the case may still be pending. you can search the court dockett and locate the file by his name. you may also contact the state bar to locate the person/ firm who took over the case files (if any).

if the speed was in excess of a certian limit on CDL then you will have an "out of service" period of time. Once the time has expired then you can drive however the comapny may consider you a risk to drive their trucks.
