You are welcome to contact me on my cell phone at (404) 468-4689 24/7 if you wish to speak about your accident. I hope you feel better. Sam Levine, Esq. Attorney at Law

The answer is probably not. There is typically a time deadline to appeal from a final order and if you missed that deadline, then your ability to appeal in this wrongful foreclosure lawsuit would most likely be prejudiced. However, there are other remedies that you may have which you may want to explore, particularly in light of the fact that this appears to have been a dual track foreclosure, which in most cases, is forbidden under the national mortgage fraud settlement. It appears as though it has not been made clear to you exactly what the status of your car accident injury claim/case is. You need to call your attorney & ask him/her to explain what he/she has done on your case. If your case is not settled within the two (2) year statute of limitations, then a lawsuit would need to be filed. Request clarification.

The answers that the other lawyers provided to your question are very good. I do not have much to add other than you need to try to get an appointment scheduled to meet with your lawyer right away so as to avoid a statute of limitations issue, which in Georgia, is two (2) years from the date of the accident. However, there may be other circumstances which I am/we are not aware of which may extend the statute. Either way, you need to act quickly.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. The short answer to your question is maybe. There is no harm in talking with a Georgia attorney to answer questions and help clarify some things. Whatever the case, I hope you feel better. Your injuries do sound very serious and you need to continue treating until released. Best wishes. Sam Levine, Esq. (404) 303-8875
