I am a shareholder practicing in the Business Litigation and Fiduciary Litigation practice groups at Davis, Matthews & Quigley, P.C. in Atlanta, GA.
I represent businesses of all sizes, as well as business owners, families, and individuals, in various types of litigation, including disputes related to contracts, construction, business torts, real estate, probate and fiduciary disputes. I also serve clients in matters such as the review, negotiation and drafting of contracts, provide advice to existing businesses and start-ups regarding legal issues, and assist clients in the formation of business entities. Prior to becoming an attorney, my background included computer programming and related experience in the technology field, as well as operating small businesses. I believe this additional experience provides me with valuable insight into the issues that my clients encounter. With an approach that strives to understand my clients' business or situation and apply first-rate problem-solving skills, I am driven by results: achieving the best possible outcome with the least amount of disruption to my clients.
I am a member of the State Bars of Pennsylvania and Georgia. I am admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, United States Court of Appeals (11th Circuit), Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, Pennsylvania Superior Court, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme Court.
I have also appeared pro hac vice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the Chancery Court for Knox County, Tennessee, the Chancery Court for Shelby County, Tennessee, the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

Matthew and I were oppising counsel on a case that had the potential to become very complex with high legal costs. Matthew showed courtesy and professionalism in my dealings with him, and he worked diligently to reach an amicable resolution of the matter. It was a pleasure to work with him.
