Lorna Katica has provided pro bono legal services and research support to Safe Water Now, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe water in emerging nations. Specifically, Ms. Katica has helped provide legal framework for putting new talent on the ground for our ceramic water filter operations in Arusha, Tanzania. She has drafted and implemented international employment contracts, and has researched, coordinated and drafted public and private grant proposals for SWaN. She also participated in an academic consortium initiative in public health care. Throughout all of the assignments that she has worked on, Ms. Katica continues to demonstrate dedication and discipline. Her excellent research and writing skills have been critical for the timely submission of our grant proposals. I recommend Ms. Katica for work in any academic or professional environment. She is passionate about her work in health care law, health care economics, and public and private health care.
Ms. Katica helped me a number of times with some issues I had regarding discrimination within my attended educational institutions. She is very knowledgeable, and uses her know-how of the field to gain my resulted outcome. She handled dealing with the other team of lawyers very well, was always cordial to me, and was understanding of my situation. She contacted the accused party to handle my situation very well, and we were able to settle out of court. Would recommend her to any of my peers.
Ms. Katica represented me in 2 unemployment hearings and won both for me. She is very professional and knowledgeable in the labor law area. She was always there for me and made me feel at ease at all times. I highly recommend her.
She worked really hard on my case and got it settled before even going in front of judge.Within the year that I met her thru EEOC recommendation. She is very professional and knows alot nursing and health adminstration laws.I would recommend Lorna, she helped me with court fees up front, she really believed in my case when others did NOT.Very tough , stern women who is compassinate and willing to go the extra mile for her clients, staying in touch with me rather it was thru email and/ or telephone & staying intouch with defendants related to the case.I am taking the time to write this review because she took the time for my case and will do the same for you!
Lornia Katica was referred to me and subsequently represented me. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I felt that she took a personal interest in my case and I am very happy with the outcome which exceeded my expectations. I would use her again without hesitation and will recommend her to my business associates and friends.
During consultation, very personable, knowledgeable and came out feeling she would fight for our rights. Her retainer was substantial in comparison to other attorneys for the same type of case (found out after retained her). Within days, over half of the substantial retainer was exhausted on matters; we felt were not pertinent to due process. Since over half of the retainer was gone, we were stuck. She never went with us to a meeting. At the end, we were without the results she claimed in the consultation, not satisfied, disappointed and unhappy and broke. See reviews on websites for uReview.net and under her name for Yahoo! Local. Wish we had prior to retaining her.
