    Robert’s Answer

The most you are entitled to is the value of the car you lost. If you do not believe you are being offered the fair value of car you lost, then it may be beneficial for you to hire an independent vehicle appraiser to prepare a valuation report for submission. Just keep in mind that if you do so you will have to pay the appraiser out of your pocket.

  • I slip and broke a leg in a supermarket... can i get a lawsuit a be refund for my medical bill

    no further details.

    Robert’s Answer

More information is needed to answer your question fully, but depending on the circumstances it is possible. Essentially, “slip and fall” liability attaches where the owner or proprietor knew or should have known of a potentially dangerous condition on the property, and failed to take the proper steps to remove the danger, to minimize an unavoidable danger, or to warn others of the danger. For example, if a bottle of oil spills in a grocery store aisle, the store owner may not be held liable if someone slips upon it before the owner has had a reasonable opportunity to learn of the problem and to address it an appropriate way by cleaning it up, giving a warning, or blocking the area from public access. If you slipped on a spilled substance and you believe that the store owner should have been aware of the spill, then you may have a viable claim and I would suggest you speak to a local personal injury attorney. Good Luck!!

  • I have a lawsuit in florida, can the defense lawyres see medical records from a different state even tho the case is in florida

i want to know if when i went to an emergency room while i was on vacation out of state and had a problem with that body part if that can be revealed or is only florida records.

    Robert’s Answer

Discovery is generally very broad they will in all likelihood be able to entitled to review the medical records from the other state. But just because they will be entitled to review them, does not necessarily mean they will be admissible at a trial should your case go that far. If you haven't already hired a local personal injury attorney, I would suggest that you may want to consider doing so as they will be familiar with the evidentiary rules and will know best how to handle your particular situation.

I'm sorry for your frustration. Sounds like it is time for you to go into the office and sit down with the attorney face to face to discuss your concerns. If you still aren't happy after that meeting it may be time to hire a new attorney. Good luck!
