    Thomas’s Answer

That is certainly fishy. Of course, it looks as though you are being evaluated to see if you need to have surgery. If the surgeon thinks it is needed, this will work out well for you.

  • Injury was not my fault was not intoxicated on job. fired because of dirty urine can i get workmans comp or lawsuit

employed three years. supervisor knows i was not at fault. state of GA

    Thomas’s Answer

You might be able to get workers' compensation benefits. Failing a drug test means that there is a "rebuttable presumption" against you. That means that you have to prove that whatever caused you to fail the drug test did not have anything to do with why you were hurt. It is highly unlikely that a company will accept your claim under these conditions. You need to hire a lawyer to help you.

  • I have a workers comp hearing set up for August. Now the workers comp defense lawyer wants a deposition early July.

Why would they order a deposition.

    Thomas’s Answer

This is very standard practice. The deposition is taken for two purposes. One is to find out your side of the story. The second is to learn about your background and see what kind of witness you would be. You should definitely have an attorney at this point in the proceedings.
