If you pled first offender then there is a chance that law enforcement might not object to your petition to expunge your record. It is unlikely that they would allow the expungement since the allegations involve the use of a weapon and you, therefore, are not someone that they would want to risk doing that sort of favor for only to possibly have you use a weapon on someone in the future and then they look really really bad and really really stupid.
