This is typical in Douglas County. You need to hire a local criminal defense attorney as soon as possible. It's best to get this issue addressed before the case is presented to the grand jury. Make sure your son understands the if he gets arrested for anything while these charges are pending, a good possibility exists that he will be denied bond. He must walk the straight and narrow. Also, he should not discuss the case with anyone except his lawyer. HE SHOULD ALSO GET OFF...

Sounds like she had a pretrial diversion setup that she didn't complete. Very important to get a local attorney to help you sort through this. If she actually took the anger management class and can provide proof, then this matter may be handled relatively quickly.

If your brother is charged with a crime in Douglas County, he definitely needs an Attorney as soon as possible. As for sentencing, that depends on a number of issues too length and complex to explain within the context of this forum. Good Luck.

A loan is a contract. So, you need to contact the other party to your contract to see if they would be willing to modify the contract. The other party to your contract is your lender, probably a bank. Feel free to contact me at 678-383-1690 if you would like to discuss further.

Assuming you live in Douglas county, you need to talk with an Attorney in Douglas County. My number is 678-383-1690 or you can visit my website at http://www.napierlawllc.com. The one thing I will tell you now is "DO NOT DEFAULT BY NOT ANSWERING!" You have 30 days from the date you are served to file an answer. If you don't file an answer, YOU LOSE. You probably have a number of good defenses and maybe even a counterclaim. TALK WITH A LOCAL ATTORNEY. Good Luck.

There is a way to serve a person by publication if you do not know her whereabouts. It's not easy and you should contact an Attorney to make sure you do it right. If it's not done right, any custody modification you get may be null and void for lack of proper service.

If this case is in Douglas County, a very long time. Each Burglary county carries a maximum of 20 years. You need to hire an attorney soon. If you can't afford an attorney, you need to apply for a public Defender. Also, do not discuss the facts of the case with anyone except your attorney. Also, do not get arrested for any other offense as they may deny your bond. Call me if you want to discuss further.
A lot depends on which Court this is in. Municipal vs. State. Contact a local criminal defense attorney that can help you through this process. He doesn't need to just plead guilty b/c he will lose his license. Lots of attorneys will work with you on payment. Good luck.
Be careful if this is in Douglas County. As others have said consult with a local attorney. If this is in Douglasville, you can call my office, 678-383-1690, on Monday to discuss. If this is in some other location, then I recommend going to www.gacdl.org and searching for criminal defense attorneys in the location where this case is pending. Good luck.
