Go back. Talk to the manager and explain what happened BEFORE you get tracked down and arrested. They probably won't press charges and if they did, you'd have a great defense to work with.

While you might win at a revocation hearing on the issue, it would be much smarter to first simply ask the probation officer what their stance on the matter is.

  • How bad does a misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement charge look from 21 years ago?

I was arrested in 1992 for above-referenced charge. It was a non-violent incident. A friend got arrested, I was trying to find out why, and when the police officer asked me to back away from the squad car (twice) and I did not, I was arrested. ...

Depending on how old you were at the time, you MAY be able to get the record sealed so that future employers would not see it on a criminal background check. Please let me know if I can be of assistance. I would be happy to help.

It's possible, but never a sure thing. You will need an attorney to act as the go-between for you and your PO to try and get something worked out. There are absolutely things that should be done before any sort of turn-in happens.

  • Will i get arrested on the spot? in GA

I have a $1094 fine for driving on a suspended license. This is my first time ever having to go to court. I owe $650 left. I will not be able to pay anything. Will I have to go to jail that day or will I be assigned a court date?

    Michael’s Answer

You say you have a fine, but if you've never been to court, how do you have a fine at all?
Were you on probation? You need to provide more details to get an educated answer.

  • Have a bench trial tom am. Can I still enter a no lo plea? Simple Battery/walking under the influence. No attorn. Fulton, GA

I have no attorney. I didn't know what to do and they just gave me a bench trial. I plead notguilty hoping to get a continuance. Can I use my 6th ammend for an attorney??? Or can I still make a plea of no lo? I have 2 young children and my wife...

    Michael’s Answer

GET A LAWYER. IT IS NOT TOO LATE.
It doesn't matter whether or not your sister "dropped" the charges. The State still proceeds. A nolo plea goes down on your record exactly as a conviction, so that doesn't help you at all.
If you have waited until the trial date to ask for an appointed attorney, the judge will very likely deny your request.

  • Does a county have 72 hours to come get you if you have a outstanding arrest warrant but arrested in another county?

My fiance had a outstanding warrant in dekalb county. He was arrested and charged with another crime in another county. Does dekalb county have 72 hours to come get him and charge him with the crime there then give him back to the other county?

    Michael’s Answer

If your fiance hasn't bonded on the charge he was arrested on in this other county, Dekalb won't pick him up. Once he bonds on the new charge, Dekalb will have a "reasonable" time to pick him up. Usually they do it within 72 hours, but not always. The best thing you can do right now is get him an attorney who can help with both charges to minimize any jail time. Please let me know if I can be of assistance. I would be happy to help.

  • How much will a criminal defense attorney cost in Atlanta, Ga

I am on the first offender probation and I just violated

    Michael’s Answer

Different attorneys charge widely different fees. You really need to speak with multiple attorneys and choose the one you can afford AND who you believe actually cares about you and your situation. Just make sure you don't wait until it's too late for an attorney to get you the best possible outcome!

  • After being indicted is there a possibility that your case can get dismissed for insufficient evidence or illegal search?

My bf wAs arrested during a traffic stop, when pulled over in my car the police realized his license was suspended ,they thoroughly searched him and hand cuffed him to the back and put him inside the cops car mean while the cops were calling people...

    Michael’s Answer

If you already have an attorney, you should direct your questions to them.
Generally, however, if evidence is illegally obtained, an attorney should file a motion to have such evidence suppressed. You say your boyfriend has been in custody for 108 days. He should certainly already have a bond, unless a large amount of marijuana was found in the car.
Even then, an attorney should be able to obtain a bond for him.
