17 year old son with a speeding ticket in Braselton-limit drops 55 to 15 1/4mile..40 in a 25...any recourse to avoid insurance?

Asked by a user in Braselton, GA - over 2 years ago.

If your son is convicted of offenses cumulative of FOUR [4] points prior to becoming 18, his license will be suspended. Consult an Attorney about negotiating a more favorable plea that would not be reported to DDS. GA code 40-6-183 may 'possibly' be something to look at.

Check with the Georgia DDS, they will have a record of what jurisdiction the citation came from, call the clerk of court in that jurisdiction for further info. You will need to get a clearance letter from NC.
