Speed of 14 mph over is not reported to DDS, ask The Judge Yaklin to allow community service in lieu. I suggest you pay the fine.

If your son is convicted of offenses cumulative of FOUR [4] points prior to becoming 18, his license will be suspended. Consult an Attorney about negotiating a more favorable plea that would not be reported to DDS. GA code 40-6-183 may 'possibly' be something to look at.

As my collegues have stated you will/may be charged as DUI 'less safe' depending upon jurisdiction if convicted, 40 hours community service,12 months probation, A&D evaluation/Treatment, fine, 24 hours minimum in custody, Unless it is reduced to a Reckless.

She may be also declared a Habitual Violator which will severly impact her driving license.

Check with the Georgia DDS, they will have a record of what jurisdiction the citation came from, call the clerk of court in that jurisdiction for further info. You will need to get a clearance letter from NC.
