Kenneth Ray Wooten

After practicing law for 40 years and co-managing a law firm for 15 years, I retired and started a mediation and alternative dispute resolution practice.  Over the course of my career, I gained valuable experience in all major fields of law.  I have handled mediations; jury, non-jury, and mock trials in federal and state courts; arbitrations; and appeals to U.S. Supreme Court, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, North Carolina Supreme Court and North Carolina Court of Appeals.  My business experience includes managing an condominium complex; negotiating settlement of an extensive flood damage claim following a major hurricane; managing rental properties; managing a farm that included a forestry management plan and a crop lease; and managing personal construction and renovation projects.  I have also served as District Governor of an international non-profit and was inducted as an International Fellow and I have served as Chair of the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.  My services also includes Member Emeritus of College of Humanities and Social Sciences at North Carolina State University and as a member of the Advancement Committee of UNC Law School Alumni Association.  With my experience, I can help you find the Pathway to Resolution of your dispute.
