Frank K. Friedman, chairman of our Appellate Section, has handled numerous appeals both in state and federal courts.
He has served as chair of the Appellate Practice Subsection of the Litigation Section of the Virginia State Bar, chair of the Board of Governors of the Litigation Section of the Virginia State Bar, and chair of the Board of Editors of The Journal of Civil Litigation. He is a frequent speaker for Virginia CLE and other bar groups on appellate topics.
Frank was named a Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America in appellate practice. He’s also regularly lauded for excellence by publications that include Super Lawyers and Virginia Living.
Frank graduated from Harvard College and received his law degree from Vanderbilt University.
He is active in Temple Emanuel, Roanoke, and has served on the boards of Total Action Against Poverty and Southwestern Virginia Second Harvest Food Bank.
