Admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1999, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, he is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (B.A., with distinction, 1996) and Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University (J.D., 1999).
