    • I hired David 6-12 months ago.
    • David handled my DUI / DWI matter.

    Very good experience. My case was resolved satisfactorily thanks to his skill and effort. He is very experienced, knowledgable and very well-regarded by colleagues. He also has a good relationship with the DA and judges which helps him negotiate pleas when the circumstances don't favor your case.

    • I do not recommend David Bernhard.
    • I hired David 1-3 years ago.
    • David handled my DUI / DWI matter.
    • I have previously worked with 1-2 lawyers.

    He doesn't have a timely manner; He was always at least an hour late for court hearings.

    For my last continued court date, he was 2 hours late.

    Also he doesn't really show that he is trying; he repeats that we just have to wish our luck;

    doesn't really care about his client.

      Lawyer Comment:

      Dear Sir/Madam:

      If you are truly a current or former client of our firm, you should address us in person and in private. We discourage clients from posting positive reviews on websites such as these so as to keep client confidentiality. Whenever a client offers to post about the positive experience with our firm we ask him/her not to do so as a matter of firm policy. That it is why your post is the first one on this forum. Since 1989, our firm has handled cases for tens of thousands of clients. I am sorry you are disappointed with your result. As we put in writing in our contract, we only guarantee our best effort, not a particular result. No matter how good the lawyer may be, results are largely dependent on the evidence in the case.

      As to your allegations of "lateness" you may know that our firm keeps its prices relatively low because we tend to have more than one case in court. All DUI cases are passed over while the prosecutor talks to the police. If your matter was handled later in the docket it does not necessarily mean the lawyer was not there timely or working on your case.

      As to your allegation that I do not care about my clients, your own post shows otherwise. If I was a non-caring attorney, why would I continue your case to try to get you a better result on a different date. If you are a client you know we charge by the case not by the hour. I suggest you are blaming the messenger for the message that your case was apparently not winnable. You do not mention whether you had an actual viable defense. If you were dissatisfied with your result you could have also appealed and appeared with a different lawyer of your choice.

      Since anonymous posts provide little detail or credible facts, I submit they are of no credible value.

      Our track record, multiple mentions in the media, and reputation for providing quality representation speaks for itself:

      David Bernhard
