John was a great lawyer.. He got better then what I wanted. I was expecting 90 days and 3yrs probation and he got me 2years probation and a suspended sentence.. He was also very kind to my family and WELL worth the money.. John was awesome and I recommend him for ANY Criminal case.. Well done!!
During the phone consultation John Martino sounded very knowledgeable however in the course of the interview at the office I could see that my initial impression was incorrect. After that I made it clear that since Peter O'neill was the attorney that was recommended to me I would be far more comfortable with his representation.
I had 3 seperate court dates. At the first court date Peter O'neill did represent me and things went very well. The next court date John Martino arrives and since I had already had this date rescheduled once I had no choice but to continue with him. This date did not go well. When speaking in front of the judge his entire demeanor changed to the point that he sounded very nervous and artificial. I was told by John Martino at the consultation that I would absolutely not receive probation and worst case scenario I would get weekends. Wrong I ended up with 2 years probation as well as a year in the division of corrections. When I looked at John Martino and said you never said this was a possibility his response was "oh, I most certainly did". In addition to all this after I asked him to make sure my mother was alright and him agreeing to do so he got outside and told her "I have to go theres a parking garage right there thats probably where your car is and walks off leaving her not only with the shock of her son going to prison but standing downtown in Baltimore without a clue where she is or my car is parked. The next court date apparently Peter Oneill had already negotiated that the charges be dropped and even though I had asked repeatedly not to be represented by John Martino when they took me from the holding cell to the court room once again it was John Martino. The judge stated the charges were being dropped due to insufficient evidence. John Martino begins speaking and the judge immediately cuts him off since clearly there is nothing left to say and at that point he could only hurt me by talking. The point I would like to make is if you hire and pay for Peter O'neill make sure you are represented by Peter O'neill.
What a wonderful comfort to have Mr. Martino on our side. He made things wasy and understandable and got the results we wanted. My family is very happy.
