If you have been arrested for an alcohol related offense in Maryland and were given an temporary license, the temporary license will grant you an unrestricted driving privilege for 45 days from the date it was issued. If, however, you request a hearing on your proposed suspension within 10 days after the temporary license was issued you would be able to continue driving until your MVA hearing date, as the MVA would be required to send you a driving privilege extension in the mail.
