Ask your attorney if he intends to challenge whether the officer had probable cause to stop you in the first place. Its not clear why you were stopped, based upon your question. If the officer did not have probable cause to stop (ie. crossing the lines, speeding, accident, ran a red light, etc..) then he may be able to have the case dismissed. I agree with Mr. Weeks and Mr. Hall but would add that you should hire an attorney to negotiate the speed down or have it dropped at the preliminary hearing phase. Hopefully you are eligible for the ARD program. Good luck!
