As other answers as said, GEICO may be investigating fraud. Your daughter should ask the GEICO representative why they want the phone records. Then call an attorney and further discuss everything.
I assume the dr. who did the surgery to remove the polyp did the post-op exam and informed you it was still there. If so, what reasons, if any, did he give for not removing it? Did he offer to perform the next surgery to remove it free of charge? Do you know yet if you will have any complications form the failure to remove it in addition to a 2d procedure? You should call an attorney who does medical malpractice after getting as many of these answers as you can.
Remind the buyer you sold the boat to him "as is" and you do not owe for any repairs now. If the buyer decides to sue you for the cost of the repairs it will be helpful if you have a writing confirming the "as is" sale.
