I represent start-ups, small businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in the areas of real estate acquisitions and financing, mortgage lending, title insurance, contract disputes, distressed real estate, loss mitigation and business law in the D.C. Metro Area. During my career I have guided clients from the planning and formation stages of a business through its day-to-day operations and ongoing compliance issues. Brokers and real estate agents often consult me for advice regarding residential and commercial leases, title condominium issues and contact disputes. In one of my roles, I manage the firm's foreclosure litigation practice in trial courts in the District of Columbia and Maryland - currently numbering in the hundreds of cases.
Over the years, I have developed a “bottom-line” approach to counseling clients with a keen understanding of the costs associated with the issues facing the real estate and mortgage banking industry.
I enjoy public service and I am an active member of the D.C. Bar and have served on many committees in my community.
I am licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland and New York.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my two kids, playing guitar with friends and playing sports.
