Biography
Attorney Thomas “Tom” Fortune Fay is the founding partner at Fay Law Group. He has practiced law for more than four decades and is well-known for his experience, insights, and comprehensive case strategies. He concentrates his practice on handling international terrorism cases and in this way is willing to go where no lawyer has gone before. Fay Law Group is the first law firm to accept claims against international terrorists, putting their care and attention in carefully reviewing the facts and details of these difficult legal matters. The Civil Justice Foundation Award presented Mr. Fay with a Special Commendation in 2002 in recognition of his prosecution of cases on behalf of American victims of terrorism in which in excess of $900,000, in judgments have been entered against foreign state sponsors of international terrorism. Although Mr. Fay continues to prosecute a variety of other civil cases, the majority of his time is used in the continuing pursuit of justice for American victims of foreign state-sponsored terrorism.
