    If you don't have an attorney, get one ASAP. Tell your girlfriend you can't talk to her right now because of the no contact order, and suggest she call your attorney and tell her/him she would not like to pursue charges and wants the order lifted. Sometimes this can be resolved at the preliminary hearing.

    You need to gather all the documents you have and sit down with an attorney in his office. There are different times to respond to a praecipe; it depends on the type. I suggest you meet with someone ASAP so you don't lose important rights.

    The maximum amount is $12,000, so you can file in magisterial district court. If you are not happy with the disposition you may appeal to common pleas court and have an arbitration hearing.
