Elaine Ann Stanko

I am a banking and financial services attorney with more than 30 years of experience in commercial and consumer financing. In my practice, I represent lenders and borrowers, including community banks, with loan origination, negotiation and closing and is experienced with Small Business Administration (SBA) government-secured loans and economic development financing.

In my business and corporate practice, I assist clients with business formations, corporate governance and drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts. I have experience with business transactions and represents buyers and sellers on mergers and acquisitions. I also assist with commercial real estate transactions by preparing and reviewing purchase and sale agreements as well as financing and loans.

Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, I was the Vice President and Director of SBA Loan Documentation for a community bank based in Reading, PA where I managed a team of loan documentation specialists who reviewed applications, documented loans and prepared commitment letters and term sheets, including for Payback Protection Program (PPP) loans for businesses. I have practiced business and corporate law at law firms across central Pennsylvania, including McNees Wallace & Nurick, Fox Rothschild, and Barley Snyder.

I am active in the community and passionate about helping children with learning disabilities. I have served on the board of trustees for The Janus School in Mt. Joy, PA since it was founded 30 years ago. I also serve on the board of directors for Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania, an organization that provides resources for individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors and their families.
