i saw harper on this web site and I was impressed by the reveiw. I sent an email explaining my situation and before i was done reading what i had sent to him,i had a response. His assistant dave was just as on top of things as harper was. In meeting with harper i was very impressed. He was relaxed which in turn made me relax. He did not try and upsell himself or scare me into thinking i absolutly needed him for things i did not. He did not take me on a magic carpet ride making me think he could get me all my money back which i know some attorneys would. He gave me real advise and gave me what i needed to continue on the case im working on without asking for a cent.(this was all in a consultaion) harper is a true professional that projects confidence. I will most definiatly retain him in the future if the need arrises. look no further for a competant individual to represent your matter.

Harper and I had met and conversed on several occasions regarding a ongoing contractual dispute between myself, a property management company and owner and their in ability to execute within the agreed upon contract.

I was waivering about obtaining representation for a real estate deal. It was a short sale...new to me...so I decieded on day 2 of the 3 day review to seek representation. Working in Center City, I was referred to Atty. Dimmerman who called right back and even stayed late to accomodate my request.
The experience was definately worth it. He was very professional and explained the contract to me line by line! Whew... I felt more confident speaking with my NJ Real Estate agent and submitting changes to the contract that were crucial to me as the buyer. Mr. Dimmerman represented me in an issue involving my HOA. I did quite a bit of research into that area of law before consulting with several attorney's regarding representation. Mr. Dimmerman was by far the most knowledgeable of that area of law, attentive and extremely easy to communicate with. Having worked with many attorney's in the past, I have never been as impressed with an attorney's skills as I was with Mr. Dimmerman.

Hello, my name is Charles Prem. I am 24 years of age and currently work as a CDL driver for the armored company Brinks. My dream however is to go into public service and become a Philadelphia Police Officer. About a year ago I pursued this dream and passed the test to become a Philadelphia Police Officer Trainee. I was subsequently placed on the Philadelphia Police Academy eligibility list with a rank of 960. However due to a family death and illness I was unable to continue in the process and was having difficulty freezing my place on the eligibility list until I could work through my personal responsibilities. As a kind of last ditch attempt for help I sent an email to Mr. Dimmerman telling him my story and asking if he could help me in any way. To my suprise I received an email just a few minutes later setting a time to meet. I met with Mr. Dimmerman and received more help then I could ask for or expected to receive, not only did he go to great lengths and use his far reaching connections to help me out but he did it all free of charge. I will definitely will not forget it.

Our condominium has had continued problems with the builder in downtown Philly. We had a free consultation with Harper. He provided us frank and insightful information in regards to handling the situation. Harper carefully explained all the pros and cons of the legal matter. This prevented us from going down the wrong road and paying large legal fees that do not necessarily help. We will continue to dialog and consult with Harper Dimmerman.

Harper was extremely easy to talk to and very down to earth. He was very honest with me and got right to the point, which I appreciated. Harper was clearly very knowledgeable on all subjects pertaining to my issues: my rights as an condo owner, zoning, L&I, city permits etc. He painted a clear picture of what the next 6 months to a year would look like for me, in terms of my time, effort and money in regards to my case. I came to Harper with a homeowner association issue. I had received consultation on the same issue of weirdo board members (and you know what I mean if you live in a Condo/PUD or Sub-Division.
The difference was astounding and I cannot tell you how comfortable I felt with the advice I received from Harper. His approach is genuine and I get the sense that he truly feels your pain and so often that is all someone asks for from their lawyer and not the cold, pay me attitude. He truly has helped me understand the real deal, offers solid advice to avoid trouble and seeks a solution that will not take the kids college fund. I had some questions regarding a real estate broker deal gone bad which started with a broker being evasive and unresponsive and ending with the broker's lawyer shouting at me over the phone. The case actually needs to be settled in NY as per real estate guidelines, but Harper was extremely helpful in guiding me along the right path of what needed to be done. What I valued the most was that he was genuinely sincere, which is a rare find in almost anyone these days unless they are receiving payment for their services. I highly recommend him!

I had been dealing with an irresponsible landlord who refused to return my security deposit. Two months had passed with no response to my letters requesting it, so I decided to seek legal council from a Philadelphia lawyer. I had never pursued legal action against anyone before and, therefore, had little knowledge or experience with the process.
After several attempts to contact reputable law firms yielded no response, I finally found someone who took me serously and promptly responded to my message. During my meeting with Harper Dimmerman, he was courteous in hearing my explanation of the circumstances and was very helpful in recommending the necessary steps to take in order to have my situation resolved in a timely manner. He was even willing to send the landlord a letter at my request, so that all options could be exhausted before filing a lawsuit. When I met with Harper, he did not rush through my consultation and took time to explain things. He went well above and beyond the standard initial consultation with my case. He advised me to be clear about my expectations before I retain him. He seemed to genuinely have my best in mind, and not the quickest way for him to gain money for himself. I've had an ongoing dispute with abusive neighbors for the last eight months since I moved into the first home I have ever owned - the home within which I would find my dream. But not so with the abusive "neighbors", across whose easement I have to pass to enter and exit my home... I had retained one attorney who didn't' know the difference between sh*t and shinola, as my long gone dad used to say.... Then I found Harper J. Dimmerman, who knew the law, and how to force fit my opponents who were acting completely outside of the limits of the law into compliance with reality. My opponents and I came to an agreement in court, thanks to Harper's mediation. I can say that I'm not completely satisfied with the agreement that was arranged. But that's how the law and the legal system works. Hardly anyone ever goes home completely happy with the legal system and it's rulings.... Bottom line,,,,,hire Harper if you need help. He has a totally sharp mind for the law, he's absolutely brilliant, and he's a completely decent and compassionate human being....something often hard to find in the legal profession.... I recommend you pick up that phone and call Mr. Dimmerman if you are searching for the most honest, sincere, transparent, reliable, trustworthy, wise and down to earth professional that will ease your worry and win your case. Within three days of contacting Mr. Dimmerman, he found a resolution to my payment dispute that satisfied all parties involved without the arduous process of going through the court system. During my initial phone consultation with him, (for which he does not charge any money) he called the other party involved who is also a lawyer and put me on speaker phone to let me hear the conversation. He left a clear and specific message to the other party. He told me he would call me when he hears a response. He called me 2 days later and told me that he was able to convince the other party to agree to waive the payment of several hundred dollars that I was disputing. He further explained that the other party wanted a written apology from me for our miscommunication. I felt that it was appropriate for me to write an apology. Every story has two sides. Both parties usually think they are right. I agreed to disagree with the other party and genuinely wanted to express to the other party that I was sorry for all of the miscommunication. Having an advocate like Mr. Dimmerman gave me the confidence to look at the situation from all sides.
Tonight I will get my first good night sleep thanks to Mr. Dimmerman. I was not charged for any of the help that Mr. Dimmerman gave me. In the future I know that I will use the services of this incredible law firm and recommend him to everyone I know. I was somewhat worried about a property matter that I was anticipating with a neighbor (I was looking to make some repairs to a wall that borders my property that I do not own). I asked Harper for a consultation, to explain the situation, to investigate what my options were, and to decide if I should retain him going forward.
I met with Harper in his office. He is very approachable and personable. After explaining my position, he suggested that he give my neighbor (who is also a local attorney) a call to investigate and see if the matter could be resolved immediately. 10 minutes later, he returned and the situation was resolved. Harper set up an open dialog between the three of us, and I was able to proceed with my plan as needed. I'm not sure the best business model is to solve all of your clients issues during the consultation, but I am certainly happy that he was able to help in this situation. Harper and I had two exchanges. On the first one, we had some miscommunication but I'd say we both handled it well. When it came time for me to look for a lawyer a second time, I decided to go back to Harper and not only was he gracious about our earlier situation, he went out of his way to make the second one better. He is a man of his word, he cares about the people he's working with, and he will work with you until the job is done. These are important qualities in this day and age. I recommend him highly!

In sheer desperation I contacted Mr. Dimmerman literally hours before my hearing to evict a tenant for non-payment. To my absolute surprise he returned my call; listened to my concerns; and decided that he would help me! He appeared in court that very morning and represented me as promised. We were feeling powerless as first-time home buyers after experiencing difficulty being released from a contract on a home that an inspection revealed had serious structural issues. The smartest move we made in this process was to have Harper represent us. My family and I were having trouble with a management company/landlord on not making repairs to the home we were renting from the time we moved in until the time we moved out. Harper was very attentive, concerned, reliable, knowledgeable and helpful in our situation. He helped keep the stress we were dealing with to a minimum and reassured us that he was doing what he does best to rectify the situation. He kept us updated on all aspects of the case as it went on and kept in constant contact with us. The management company/landlord person was a very rude obnoxious person, but Harper managed to deal with her in a very professional way to explain what it was that me and my family wanted and deserved at this point. Haper always made sure that whatever he was doing for our case, was what we wanted to be done. Because of course as his client he wanted to make sure that we were happy. Harper stuck with us through this nightmare as it was truly a nightmare for 5 months and right up until we appeared in Tenant/Landlord court where he represented us and got the management company/landlord not to put a "Judgement of Agreement" on us but to mutually agree that neither party owed each other anything nor would either try to sue for anything later down the line. Harper Dimmerman did a great job for our LLC; he was monumental in helping us build agreements for our reseller partnerships as well as other internal agreements. What makes Harper outstanding is he goes over everything with a fine tooth comb as he analyzes it and then gives you his council on what to do and how to properly word each sentence on each and document. Also, after he completed his work he offers council to our company when we get specific feedback on the documents he help construct, that's probably the most important to us as that's where we need him. I was in an awful situation with an unscrupulous landlord and management company who were attempting to evict me as retaliation for having stood up for myself and rights in a home I lived in for 3 years with intentions to purchase.

I recently entered into a case in which I needed to sue the owner of a vacant property that had caused damage to my own due to the owner's negligence. I was initially just going to go into a small claims action on my own, but at the last moment, decided to hire Mr. Dimmerman to handle the case just to make sure I had taken everything into account. I recently had some serious issues with an apartment I was staying in, concerning my landlord not taking action to fix the leak that caused extreme mold in my kitchen for over a month. I got fed up and decided to leave. At this time a coworker recommended I consult a lawyer. Luckily, my company helps its employees by recommending an appropriate lawyer, such as Mr. Dimmerman, and paying for basic consultation. Upon being contacted, Mr. Dimmerman was very informative and made me aware of issues that may arise after leaving my premises, such as the landlord seeking money for litigation purposes afterward. He also made me aware that I did in fact have the right to leave, and that I may have been able to seek compensation for any illnesses incurred by having lived in my moldy apartment. Mr. Dimmerman sacrificed his personal time over the Christmas holidays to insure that my daughter's real estate purchase closing would occur before 12/31/08. Mr. Dimmerman quarterbacked a complex closing involving five parties at a very busy time of year in an effective and efficient manner. I am a CPA and former officer of a Fortune 500 Company. As a father who could not be there, I took great comfort in having Mr. Dimmerman represent my daughter's interest. I would highly recommend using Mr. Dimmerman.

I first met Harper when one of my clients (I sell residential real estate) hired him to complete a difficult transaction. Throughout the process, Harper was helpful, responsive, informative and without him, the deal would not have closed. I was most impressed however when after everything was completed, my client received the balance of the money that was not used from his original retainer. With the amount of work and time Harper had put in, he could have easily kept the entire amount, but he was honest and returned what was owed to my client.
Over the last 4 years, I have personally used Harper from everything from writing up leases to taking tenants to court to reviewing legal documents. I have also referred at least ten clients his way.
