Can I sue a cigarette company

I think your chances for a successful outcome would be small. The Surgeon General of the United States warned about the dangers of smoking in the early 1960's, and warnings have been on cigarette packs for a long time (since before you started smoking). You should consult with a lawyer in GA since there are variations in every state's laws, but most allow a defense based upon assumption of the risk, which clearly would be a big issue in your case.
