I agree with Mitchell. You probably should file a mechanic's lien, and you better act quickly.

Sorry, but we can't give you a good substantive answer without more information. We need to know what the underlying crime was. Generally, the sentence for a conspiracy or aiding charge can be just as severe as the sentence for the crime itself.

Pennsylvania has a statute for a judicial name change found at 54 Pa.C.S.A ยง701. Basically, a petition is filed, notice is given to the other parent, and notice may also need to be published in the newspaper and local legal journal. A court hearing is then held and any objections can be heard by the court. This is a relatively simple procedure, and you should not have too much trouble finding a local attorney that can handle it for you. If you decide not to go with a judicial name...

I agree with Bryant. Frankly, I am not aware of any attorneys in Lebanon that practice Patent Law. Finding someone to help you with this could be tough. Before filing suit, you could send a cease and desist letter to the seller. However, it seems unlikely that such a letter will be sufficient since it sounds like this seller doesn't care about infringing on your patent.

Less than 1 pound of marijuana is a felony with an "offense gravity score" of 3. That means that if your friend has no priors, he will likely get probation.

Forest makes an excellent point. Even if your friend contacts a Lebanon attorney other than me, that's still very good advice. Less than 1 pound of marijuana is a felony with an "offense gravity score" of 3. That means that if your friend has no priors, he will likely get probation.

You may be able to get a divorce in the U.S., but there are important rules that apply when serving a divorce complaint or other legal process on someone overseas. (Compliance with Hague Convention requirements being a key part of this.) I suggest you talk with someone that has some international family law experience. Unfortunately, finding someone that is competent in this area of law may not be easy.

Generally in Pennsylvania, once the original lease term expires your tenancy becomes month-to-month. Your landlord can therefore, at least in theory, raise the rent every month as long as he gives you sufficient notice. You may want to check the original lease to see if it has any automatic renewal provisions. (In which case you may have, for example, a series of new one year leases based on the original terms.) I'd also look at whether your increase notice back in May gave any set...

If the power tools are loud enough, he may be in violation of a local noise ordinance. (Lebanon city has an ordinance, but it varies in the surrounding municipalities.) You may want to bring it to the attention of the zoning officer. If that doesn't work, you may be able to bring a private civil action against him for nuisance. Before doing that, it's best to have an attorney send a warning letter. However, getting into a dispute with a neighbor should be a last resort. It's not much fun...
This is not really a legal question, but I would think you should first talk to the artist. Maybe he can give you a small dot tattoo somewhere and see if it causes any problems.
