Unfortunately, a notarized statement is not enough. You need to have an enforceable contract. You should have an attorney help you with this.

The press will usually post all charges regardless of if you're convicted or not. You could ask for them to retract the other charges but that may not be smart at this point because they'll probably reiterate the DUI. I hope this helps.

You definitely need an attorney for this. Your rights are too complicated to explain in this forum, and it is very important that you know them all before pleading.

Yes, generally speaking, all joint checking accounts and CD's are reportable. If the accounts were held jointly at the date of death, and they were established more than one year prior to the date of death, then only 50% of the account value will be taxed. Give me some more details regarding the dates the accounts were established and how the accounts were held at the time of death and I can give you some more specific information.

This question is too vague and general to begin to answer. You should consult with an attorney immediately to discuss your rights and options.
You will need to file a motion with the court for release. Prior to that you need to be sure that forfeiture of the firearm was not a condition of your plea or probation.
You need to refer to your fee agreement/engagement letter to determine what time of remedy you may have. This will help guide you regarding your rights.
This case is extremely complicated. It is impossible to answer this question via internet. There are so many issues. I STRONGLY recommend that you contact an attorney to discuss this matter as soon as possible.
