James Frank Armstrong

I contacted James F Armstrong to assist me with some legal work concerning medical malpractice. He first responded by email confirming that did this type of legal work and that he would assist me. I spoke to him over the phone and he said that he would send me a questionnaire to help understand the d...etails of my legal matter and to help determine if he could help me but he never sent me this questionnaire. After 2 weeks had passed I phoned his office number and left several messages and after a week he called me saying that he would send me a questionnaire to ascertain what if anything he could do me but he never sent this questionnaire. After waiting a couple weeks more I phoned him and there was no answer on his office phone so I left several messages. After another week had passed he called me to apologize and told me that his phone had been out of order for a couple days and he would send me the questionnaire that same day(Friday) and I should fill it in and get it back to him and we could discuss it on Monday. Again the questionnaire never came. I waited another week and nothing so I phoned his office number and again there was no answer so l left several more messages and he never responded. Just in case his phone was not working I sent him a letter letting him know that I never did receive his questionnaire. He did not respond to the letter. Based on his contacting me 3 times to say that he wanted to help I expected that he was sincere but one of my relatives called him from a different phone and left a message and he returned her call. This indicated that he did get my messages and letter and he was deliberately wasting my time. My relative says they his demeanor changed when he realized that she was calling on behave of me. There is no way to put a positive spin on this. If he did not want to help me for whatever reason, too busy or not his area of expertise or etc…, he should have stated so. He wasted 2 months of my statute of limitations.

i hired mr Armstrong to do a divorce for me in march off 2011 i paid him $1,400.00 every mounth was another ecuss as to why he had not filed finly in aug he filed a summons by the time oct off 2011 hit he still had done nothing with it so i fired him and hired a new lawyer it is now going on dec and ...he has refused to give me are my lawyer my file are sing the paper for my new lawyer to take over my case and still has not refunded any off my retainer i paid him we have tryed to make contack with him over the past 3 mounth and refuses to return any phone calls are letters sent this lawyer has put me and my child in damger do to the fact im married to a man about to get out off prison for murder off my first child and this lawyer could care less about are safty its been almost 9 mounths since i hired him to do a job and yet my case sits in the courts un able to be touch by anyone thanks to James armstrong i would tell anyone looking at hireing him to be vary careful and do many checks first
