Paul Hultin is a founding partner of Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell and is one of the firm's senior trial lawyers. He has tried cases in 11 states and has appeared as counsel of record in more than 30 states. Paul has tried and litigated a broad range of cases including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, environmental, product liability, oil and gas, mining, trade secrets and employment, patent, banking, construction, real estate, and corporate leveraged buy out. In 2006, in a case which drew national attention, he led a team of Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell lawyers in the first successful court challenge to the certification and use of computerized voting machines in the country. In 2008, Paul was appointed to the Colorado Election Reform Commission whose task it was to make reform recommendations to the Colorado Legislature. Those recommendations were signed into law in 2009.
