    This was a rare criminal case that Mr. Kuehner agreed to help with. The client was a young man who was accused of a crime and convicted by a jury. He maintained he was innocent. After the trial, the man's family contacted Kevin Kuehner to see if he would be willing to appeal the conviction. After Mr. Kuehner's work, the Appellate Division vacated the verdict and the man was freed from prison.

    In this case a young woman was injured during a gym class that was held off school grounds. The school claimed too much time had passed and the young woman could not seek to pursue her rights. The trial court disagreed and the school district's lawyer appealed. The Appellate Court agreed that the young woman could go ahead and argue her case. Mr. Kuehner's associate attorney Brian Roy successfully argued this case.
