To not give away too much info about my case & the others of associates that initially went to him as well & suffered the same fate, to avoid retaliation from Dan since he sits on all these prestigious boards since he carries his grandfathers name & can shut you up, I can say this, he is a smart person & he used those smarts to pull money from all his other businesses that he inherited from his grandfather, but the smartest but most morally disgusting thing he does is that as an attorney, he takes your money, never takes your calls but is all over you when you want to stop paying in order to have him explain what he actually has done for your case, & then will be quick to take you to court, where all the judges will be biased in his favor because they must pay homage to the McCabe name in Poughkeepsie, NY or they'll be screwed too. Dan is never available to tell you about your case, let alone coach you for events coming up because he's never at his office (or in court for that matter). After weeks of calls from you, his secretary will tell you that YOU need to make an appointment to discuss your case, but appointments are usually 3 weeks out & he charges 300-400 dollars, to just review your case again which becomes obvious that he never did anything for your case. His appointment calendar is always packed because 80% of the times he's not there & any other people that fill his calendar are going to him in hopes that the "McCabe" name can save them. After he's charged you for every email he's sent & received & not answered 3/4 of them, then for leaving messages for other attorneys who leave a message back but never get a hold of him (he charges for their messages left too), your case that could've taken 2 weeks with another attorney, may be done 6-months later & a fortune thrown in Dan's holiday fund, & the case is only over only because the other attorney called the shots.

Daniel handled my divorce in 2008 and did an excellent job of negotiating a proper and fair settlement. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to proceed without all of the standard bs that can go on in the legal world these days.
