Case was indicted & offer was a lengthy state prison sentence. Client maintained that he was innocent. I negotiated with the DA to reduce to a non-violent felony. Client maintained innocence. We geared up for trial & investigated, searching for video, interviewing witnesses. We were able to ascertain the complainant was a victim in numerous cases and had a history of mental health problems including delusions including her false report of being gang raped. After all the information was provided to the DA, they dismissed in the interest of justice.

Probation over 5 years prison
Client charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2 and Reckless Endangerment 1st degree. Offer was 5 years state prison. The District Attorney had a nice case against the defendant along video. However, the client had a sympathetic history. We compiled a package and submitted directly to the District Attorney. Settlement was reached for straight probation.
