Patricia is a leading member of the Matrimonial and Family Law practice group and practices in all aspects of the field. While attending law school Patricia placed first in the Moot Court Competiton and was selected to the National Moot Court Competiton. Patricia was also chosen to participate in a prestigious litigation program sponsored by the Feredal Court system.
Patricia is a founding member of The Kitson Law Firm, LLP, who has, throughout a 35 year career, built a reputation as an aggressive advocate and skilled negotiator. She represents clients in complex financial and custodial matters and pays particular attention to her client’s individual needs and unique situations.
Patricia is a member the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and is certified in Collaborative Law. She has been invited to lecture on various topics of Family Law, domestic violence and confidentiality issues. Patricia was recognized as a 2014 Legal Leader in the field of Family Law. Patricia has received Congressional recognition and Proclamations from local communities and the Office of the Westchester County Executive for her committment to public service. Patricia has also served as an attorney on the Board of Trustees for a not for profit institution.
Patricia understands the emotional strain of her clients and encourages them to remain focused on realistic goals while exploring creative solutions to resolve their issues. Patricia is a skilled negotiator with the personal ability to work successfully with her clients and attorneys in settlement and in the collaborative process.
Patricia is also a member of the Westchester/Rockland Collaborative Law Group, the Westchester Bar Association, Westchester Womens Bar Association and is a sustainign member of the New York State Bar Association.
