How long it takes and how much you will get depends on a lot of factors. Cases can settle within a few months or take as long as years, it depends on the insurance company, the Court's calendar and other factors. On how much you will get, it depends. The amount a case is worth varies because if you try the same case infront of ten different juries, you will get ten different results.
