  • My husband & I want to get divorced without paying thousands of dollars for an uncontested divorce. Where do we start? Court?

We have both agreed to an agreement & want to file for divorce. We need to know where to go so that it will not cost that much money.

  • How can I get a quick divorce?

We have 3 teenagers, own property

    Daniel’s Answer

The key issue is whether you and your spouse are able to agree on the relevant issues related to your marriage. If you and your spouse can agree on issues related to child support, custody, visitation and the division of property and debts then you should be able to complete an uncontested divorce relatively quickly.

  • Can i get a divorce or annulment in 24 hours. I plan on getting married in February of this year.

My finace and I are planning on getting married on February 13,2015. I am seperated from my ex husband. He lives in Virginia and I live in New York can i get married to my finace if we are seperated.

    Daniel’s Answer

While there is no option to get a divorce in 24 hours, there is a possibility of getting your divorce completed within about 30 days. This, of course, is provided that your spouse is willing to cooperate and sign the documents. If that's the case you're best option is an expedited uncontested divorce. Speak with an attorney for more information.
