Sometimes, judgments that were obtained against a debtor who committed fraud, are non-dischargeable debts. There are strict filing deadlines in bankruptcy court with respect to filing a claim against the debtor's estate, to protect your judgment from being wiped out. Based on what you write, it doesnt sound like the debtor has assets; but if he did, you also have the option of asking the Court to lift the automatic stay to pursue the debtors assets.
