0 stars!!! Mr. Mainiero's lack of professionalism, lack of effort and lack of ethics is appalling. I thought by hiring him it was going to ease my mind in a difficult situation and instead his involvement in my case made things exponentially worse. He lied to us consistently about the "actions" ...he was taking in our case, meanwhile he was not doing anything at all. He was supposed to be a bridge of communication between my family and ACS and did not communicate with either side. While he did answer the phone eventually when we called him, he never called us on his own despite the number of messages left. He never even called ACS to talk with them about our case - leading them to believe we were "uncooperative" and "hostile". It is now 1 month after severing our contract and I am still begging for the refund of the retainer that was promised. It is daily excuses and lies from him again as to why I haven't yet gotten my money back. He blames his staff and lies about being out of the office, forgetting that when I spoke to him last I called him directly in his office... The damage he he has caused my family is irreparable and it will be a long, long time before we even begin to recover. STAY AWAY from Joe Mainiero!!!

Joe is now retained to take over my custody and divorce case, a very long difficult one that is now 3 years long. He comes highly recommended by a friend who is an attorney in another area of practice. He has vast knowledge of difficult custody and relocation cases and I am certain he will get the co...urts to achieve the outcome that is in the "best interest of the child", and not in the interest of a vindictive, alienating parent. He made a promise to fight for me, and he has done an excellent job thus far very early into taking over my case. My only regret is not hiring him sooner. I am trusting him with the most important person in my life, my son. Joe excels where other attorneys fail.

Joe does not run a big fancy operation, but he wants the best for people. He was my lawyer on what I thought would be an easy case. For obvious divorce reasons I am not putting my email up. But, i was in a huge mess, and joe did everything in my divorce to help me I called him at 1am, he would help m...e, I called him at anytime he gave me his cell number, he is not a stuffed shirt. He will go to the diner talk to you and actuallly keep an interest in your case....He is a great guy he cares about people and in a world of lawyers soley out for money Joe Mainero my Yankees infested lawyer is the best guy i know in the business....Its been 8 years since my case I never thought I would get through the drama, but with Joes help it has been behind me for many years. Joe for President!
