Khaleel Nathan Ismail, Esq. , Attorney. He earned his B.A. degree in English Language and Literature, from the University of Chicago in 1993, a M.A. degree in English, Concentration in Creative Writing, from Long Island University in 2001 and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2004. Following his graduation from law school, he worked for four years as an associate at private law firms, specializing in immigration matters. He currently has his own practice, Ismail Law Offices, P.C., a New York City-based firm that represents a diverse client base and engages in challenging civil and criminal practice involving a broad spectrum of disputes of local, national, and international scope.
Mr. Ismail is a member of the state bars of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to practice law in a federal district court. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, New York Chapter, New York County Bar Association, and the Brooklyn Bar Association.
As the Director of Legal Services for United for Salvadorans, a non-profit organization, he draws on personal experience in the Americas, and extensive ties to the immigration community.
