A CT does use radiation, the chances of any damage to a fetus is very slim. You should continue to have the fetus tested if you are really concerned. Discuss with your doctors. However, if the fetus is ok, then there is nothing worth taking any legal action about.

While it may seem minor this can be a big deal. I suggest that you hire a lawyer. The version you are giving seems like a set up. You need someone to make sure htat you do not have a large fine or lose your license for leaving the scene or hit and run.

One cannot make this determination online. Take the policy to a local lawyer, have them evaluate the claim. There are plenty of people in your area who would be willing to look at this on a consultation basis. Many states, like New Jersey where I practice, have immunities for insurance companies and brokers when they do not provide the insurance that you wanted. The burden is on you to prove that you wanted the other insurance if you want to sue to reform the policy.

    Adam’s Answer

as a state claim at this point, likely none. NJ has a Tort Claims Act which requires a filing of a Notice of Claim within 90 days of the event or the claim is barred, except for extraordinary circumstances or a minor. Federal Claims can still be made, but would require a showing of abuse of your Constitutional Rights under color of law. Detention for cause is a defense. The fact that the charges were dropped does not mean that the detention nor the arrest were false, that happens when someone is cleared. One would need to show that the police knew the charges were false or that the detention continued without cause.

However, the hurldes are very high on this type of claim .

  • How can it be determined if attorney client privilege, and duty to confidentiality has been violated.

Person named as defendant in workplace harassment complaint. They used attorney associated with their union to present defense and handle matter. During course of case was revealed plaintiff had made false statements regarding harassment charges. ...

    Adam’s Answer

There is a clear conflict of interest. The attorney needs to disqualify himself and owes and absolute duty to both parties of confidentiality. Ensuring this is done by the Rules of Ethics.

The defendant can demand that the lawyer be disqualified. Failing to disqualify himself may be an ethical infraction.

I didn't have medicare when I was treating for this accident. I just got my Social Security benefits and medicare after i finish treating. Why is medicare holding my settlement check? If I don't owe them anything?

    Adam’s Answer

It is unclear what type of case you are speaking about. If you a have a lawyer speak to them Generally speaking, Medicare does not hold settlement checks. However, sometimes money will not be disbursed by lawyers waiting for confirmation that Medicare does not have a lien; even if you know that they could not have paid anything.

Estate planning is not something that you want to do for free on the internet. I strongly suggest that you contact an Estate and Trust lawyer. The pros and cons will very much depend on your finances, taxes and other issues. Too many to explore like a laundry list. Suffice to say that there are advantages including lack of probate on that issue, but the other issues such as taxes and basis for resale are ones that only someone highly qualified on this subject with YOU in mind, can answer truly helpfully.

    Adam’s Answer

you will probably need to file an administrative appeal, although this may be handled by letter perhaps. I suggest that you hire an attorney to petition to change this. On the other hand, it will cost more than $200 to hire a lawyer most likely so you should contact the DMV directly and ask for a hearing, bring PROOF!
