Landlord-Tenant Disputes

My roommate and I were sued by our landlord for what we felt were dubious grounds. They had demanded a sum of money to account for what they claimed to be months of underpayments in rent, which it turns out had occurred because they failed to notify us of a rent increase in the first place (only dec...iding to come after us six months after the supposed rend increase without any contact in between). Fortunately Patrice was able to argue against their spurious claims, forcing our (now former) landlord to drop their case. Had it not been for Patrice, my roommate and I would have surely been steamrolled by the landlord's representation. If you are in a situation like this in Hudson County you'd do well to have her representation. Without knowing what you're getting into, the landlord's "mediator" (aka attorney) will easily get the best of you.

Trustworthy Lawyer

I just finished a difficult post judgement for change in child support, college tuition etc. Pat was an excellent negotiator, listener and I received a fair settlement. I am very happy with her work. I would recommended her to my friends and family to handle their legal affairs

Thank You Patrice

I just want to say this. Six years ago, my husband (of 19 years) told me he wanted a divorce. I was floored. Then he told me he had contacted a mediator - Patrice. I was devastated. Our children were 4, 13 and 16 years old. I was not prepared for any of this. But I agreed to meet with her. I am so ...glad I did. She was wonderful!!!!! I don't know how she did it (or maybe I do - she made us think about all kinds of situations that I thought were silly at the time but now I know better) but because of her, my children still have a family - a divorced family, but a family. Because that's what Patrice focused on - children, family and the future.

Was a Wonderful Matrimonial/Divorce Mediator

When I was divorcing, I was very very interested in mediation and found Ms. Renner Ianetti through a divorce mediation firm, A Better Way to Divorce. Ms. Renner Ianetti was a pleasure to work with. She was knowledgeable about the law and carefully explained our rights to my husband - now ex - and me.... She was patient and especially thoughtful when it came to handling issues about child custody and visitation. She also made sure we put our kids first and made sure we understood children were a real priority for her. There's no question in my mind that years from now, our two girls will know there parents had a "good divorce" for them. Thanks Patrice!!!
