Can I receive workers compensation while working under the table?

In NJ you can collect all your worker's compensation benefits, whether or not you work on the books or off. As long as you/your lawyer can prove employment, then you are legally entitled to medical care, temporary disability payments, and an award for any permanent disability under the statute. It is a fairly common issue. The problem may be in proving your rate of pay which will determine the disability rates.
