Makes a difficult situation worse.

Although he came highly recommended my experience with Atty Macoul was less than pleasant. He never listened to anything I had to say or any of my concerns, would cut me off mid sentence and ignore what I said. He did nothing for me except make the level of anger rise on both sides. He didn’t expla...in anything yet expected me to be a near expert on the divorce process. I found him to be condescending and rude. I was left with a huge mess and a huge debt and no resolution to my case. I had to seek out another council to aid in cleaning up the mess Macoul made and ending the divorce. Would not recommend him to anyone unless you want to waste money and time.

Would never ever recommend him to anyone

John is an aggressive lawyer, but unfortunately, he is more aggressive with his clients than in the court, he was very loud with me. He expects his clients to have lot of pre knowledge about the laws and makes no effort in updating his client about his next steps in the case. He is not at all co-oper...ative and makes his clients wait for at least 20-30 min from the appointment time, that's a routine. He is hardly available over the phone, usually busy with things as his receptionist says. He calls his clients when 'he' gets time, not a mutual availability. So, a client has to wait endlessly for his call back, his receptionist will rudely deny from giving a timeframe in which he would call back. He does not respect what a person goes through a divorce, he literally shouts at his clients, they are expected to know the laws and what's going on his mind. He is also manipulative with his clients, one day he will suggest something, the other day he would simply deny and say he never said that. With a roller coaster ride like a divorce, John is an add on stress. I would never recommend him to anyone.
